A Technique To Focus On What You Desire

Here is a technique that I came across the other day that I found very interesting. I plan on using it in my life and thought you might enjoy it as well.

I came across a video on the internet about a new technology that allows you to make what they call "mind movies". The idea is that in these movies you would put images of things that you want to manifest in your life, and you would watch these movies every day to help speed up the process.

One of the testimonials was from a man that had done the same thing to get what he wanted in his life except with pictures of the things he desired. He eventually accomplished his dreams and one day he was going through some old boxes and he found his old pictures that he had of the things he desired in his life. One of the pictures was of the type of house that he desired to manifest, but what he noticed that was incredible, was that the picture of the house was a picture of his actual home that he just bought.

This is something that makes sense to me since I had a similar experience at a job I was ready to leave. I used to work in an office cubicle and one day I realized that it wasn't the job that I wanted so I decided to empty my cubicle of everything except my pen and pencil and notepad, which I stored in my desk drawer at the end of the day. My cubicle looked as though nobody occupied it. I wanted a new job and I had in mind the exact company and job I wanted.

A few days later I started to talk to one of the new co-workers on my team and she started to tell me about her husband and his job. Turned out he worked for the company I wanted to work for in the position I wanted. She gave me his information and I contacted him and ended up getting the job I wanted. Giving my two weeks notice was very rewarding. I had manifested what I desired by changing my surroundings to allow me to focus on what I desired.

To apply this technique, you could make a video of the things you want by using free software at Animoto or One True Media, or you could make a collage with pictures of the things you desire in your life and hang it up in a location you will see every day.
