The Power Of Positive Thinking

You've probably heard this hundreds of times. It is an old cliche that has lost some of its power due to the fact that it has probably been heard by just about everyone, but my question is, "Do you understand it and what it could mean in your life?

Is your glass half full or half empty?

Think about it honestly. What type of person are you? The "half full" type or the "half empty" type?

Why is this important?

If you understand the law of attraction then you already know why this is important. We attract what we think about. That means that if you think positive you will have positive things happen to you, and if you think negative you will have negative things happen to you.

Do you believe this? Think about it. Everyone can relate to a time in their life when something bad happened and it seemed like everything was going wrong all at once. That is because you start to focus on that bad moment and your negative thinking attracts other negative things to you.

So what can you do to make your life more positive?

  • Never complain. Complaining is completely negative. Instead focus on the positive side of things no matter how small it is. Bad things will always happen, but they will happen less often if you find something positive about the situation and focus on that instead. For example: If you have a tire blow out, be thankful that the other three didn't blow out too.
  • Always be thankful for what you have. If you can't appreciate what you do have then you will find it very difficult to get what you desire.
  • Surround yourself with positive things and people. Put up pictures that inspire you, pictures of your family or a positive quote. Listen to motivational tapes or cds. Don't get caught in conversations with others that are negative. Try not to listen to others complaining. Simply tell them, "It will get better", or "It will be ok".
  • Do something positive today. Go out and give someone you care about a gift, or call them and simply tell them that you love them or that you appreciate what they have done for you. Say hi and smile to others. Ask people how they are doing and be genuine when you say it.
If you follow this advice you will notice tremendous changes in everything in your life. How do I know this? Because I do it every day. They say that it takes 29 days of doing something to form a habit, so you need to do these things for at least a month consistently. Trust me and do it.

If you don't like what is going on in your life then the solution is simple: Change the way you think and the world will change around you!

Make positive changes in your life today- If you keep doing what you are doing then you will keep getting what you are getting.

To Success,

Anthony
